Overview

• Primary care is offered Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:30 to 12:30 at the Unidad Sanitaria Veterinaria de Villa Serra (Tarija 1350).
• Rabies vaccinations run Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 12:00 to 13:00 at the castration mobiles and Villa Serra, with extra sessions Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 to 15:00 at Parque Independencia (Balboa 950, entrada por Munilla) and Friday the 26th from 12:00 to 15:00 at Vagón La Poderosa in Barrio Tierras Argentinas (Santa Cruz 3300).
• Vaccines are for dogs and cats from three months of age on a first-come basis, with dogs on a leash and cats transported in carriers or bags.
• Four mobile sterilization units operate at Parque Independencia and Delegación Norte with appointments at 4500459 (Mon–Fri, 8:00–14:00), at Vista Alegre with appointments at 4560139 (Mon–Fri, 8:00–14:00), and at Villa Serra with appointments at 4560139 plus 10 walk-in slots from 8:00 to 9:00.
• Pre-surgical rules require animals to be at least six months old with 12 hours of fasting from food and water, no surgeries for bitches in heat, and females only if two months post-partum without lactation.
