Overview

• Munich’s Stammstrecke was closed between Hackerbrücke and Isartor shortly before 12:00 for repair work and reopened shortly before 14:00, forcing temporary diversions off the core tunnel.
• Deutsche Bahn reported impacts across lines S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6 and S8 and cautioned of delays and reroutings during recovery.
• An afternoon update said most Munich services returned to normal routing with residual delays, while disruptions on S1 and S5 persisted longer.
