• On July 13, the Münchner Philharmoniker will perform Beethoven’s Violin Concerto and Rachmaninoff’s Symphonic Dances under conductor Lahav Shani with soloist Lisa Batiashvili.
• The festival’s transparent tent and arched stage beside the Feldherrnhalle replaced the usual venue due to renovations, reducing seating but preserving the open-air experience.
• On July 12, the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra made its festival debut under Franz Welser-Möst with Daniil Trifonov in Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3, drawing about 7,000 attendees.
• Marking its 25th anniversary, Klassik am Odeonsplatz has sold out every July since 2000 and aims to broaden access to orchestral music in Munich’s historic centre.
