Munich Finalizes Plans to Host PSG vs. Inter Milan Champions League Final

  • The Champions League Final is set for May 31 at the Allianz Arena with gates opening at 17:00 and kick-off at 21:00.
  • The MVG will boost U6 trains to run every five minutes from 13:00 and every three minutes from 15:00, add U8 services from 16:00, and the Bayerische Regiobahn will extend regional train schedules until after 1:00 AM.
  • Official fan zones include the Champions Festival at Olympiapark (capacity 23,000), a PSG gathering at Königsplatz (18,000) and an Inter Milan zone at Odeonsplatz (16,500).
  • Around 2,000 police officers, specialized units from Italy and France, and on-site awareness teams will secure the event, supported by a three-nautical-mile flight restriction zone around the stadium.
  • Organizers anticipate about 90,000 overnight stays and roughly €46.2 million in tourism revenue, with hotels and venues reporting near-full bookings for the weekend.
