Overview

• Tram 16 runs only between Romanplatz and Sendlinger Tor until 12 October, with Tram 17 covering Sendlinger Tor to Isartor and buses replacing service from Isartor to Effnerplatz.
• Tram 19 and night line N19 remain diverted between Hauptbahnhof Süd and Max‑Weber‑Platz via Stachus, Sendlinger Tor and Isartor through 14 September, skipping Lenbachplatz, Marienplatz (Theatinerstraße) and Maximilianeum, and are set to resume normal service on 15 September.
• Tram 21 is also rerouted via Sendlinger Tor and Isartor between Stachus and Max‑Weber‑Platz through 14 September and returns to its regular route on 15 September.
• Work on switches and tracks between Prielmayerstraße and Elisenstraße finished as planned at the end of August.
• MVG says a roughly 15‑year‑old load‑bearing concrete slab lay too deep and did not meet current requirements, and SWM will adjust its standard renewal procedures to reduce similar risks.
