Munich approves Oktoberfest 2025 beer prices up to €15.80

City authorities signed off on the adjustment following organizers’ report of inflationary pressure on ingredients and labor.

Overview

  • Beer prices will range from €14.50 to €15.80 per Maß, representing an average increase of 3.52 percent over 2024.
  • The city of Munich reviewed and endorsed the Wiesn-Wirte’s price proposals after benchmarking them against major local gastronomy rates.
  • Non-alcoholic drinks also see hikes, with mineral water rising to €10.95 per liter, Spezi to €12.48 and lemonade to €12.11.
  • Oktoberfest 2025 runs from September 20 to October 5 at Theresienwiese and features a specially brewed beer of about six percent alcohol.
  • Since 2004, the price of a Maß has roughly doubled, driven by long-term inflation, higher wages and increased operational expenses.
