Overview
- Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis presented a ₹7.69 lakh crore 2026–27 budget with a crop loan waiver of up to ₹2 lakh, estimating benefits for roughly 28–30 lakh farmers and incentives for about 20 lakh regular payers.
- A fully underground Metro Line 11 from Wadala to the Gateway of India was announced at ₹23,487 crore, with an extension via redeveloped Dharavi to Bandra station and Bandra Terminus; the project awaits Union approval, with construction targeted for 2027.
