  • The service links Mumbai’s Bhaucha Dhakka with Jaigad in Ratnagiri and Vijaydurg in Sindhudurg, trimming journeys to roughly 3–3.5 hours and 5–5.5 hours.
  • Officials say about 147–150 permissions have been secured from the Union Shipping Ministry, DG Shipping, IRS, the Maharashtra Maritime Board and the Mumbai Port Authority.
