Overview

• BMC launched the Mumbai Rabies Elimination Programme with Mission Rabies, pledging to make the city rabies-free by 2030.
• More than 100,000 dogs have been vaccinated in Mumbai since 2023 using GPS tracking and the WVS app to monitor coverage.
• PCMC’s Sept 26–Oct 3 campaign began with 352 dogs vaccinated on day one across Ravet, Chinchwadgaon, Moshi, and Bhosari/Dighi.
