Overview
- Western Railway will operate eight special locals between Churchgate and Virar in the early hours of January 1.
- Departures from Churchgate are scheduled at 1:15 am, 2:00 am, 2:30 am, and 3:25 am, with Virar departures at 12:15 am, 12:45 am, 1:40 am, and 3:05 am.
- Central Railway will run four specials, two on the Main Line between CSMT and Kalyan and two on the Harbour Line between CSMT and Panvel.
- CSMT–Kalyan services depart both ends at 1:30 am and reach destinations at 3:00 am, while CSMT–Panvel services run at 1:30 am with 2:50 am arrivals, halting at all stations.
- Passengers are advised to check timings in advance and follow safety guidance, as Central Railway also reported Rs 164.91 crore recovered from 27.51 lakh ticketless cases during April–November.
