Overview
- Western Railway will operate a Jumbo Block between Churchgate and Mumbai Central (local) from 10:35 am to 3:35 pm, with fast-line trains running on slow lines and some services cancelled or short-terminated.
- Central Railway will conduct a Mega Block on the CSMT–Vidyavihar slow lines from 10:55 am to 3:55 pm, diverting DOWN and UP slow services onto fast lines with halts at Byculla, Parel, Dadar, Matunga, Sion, and Kurla.
- Harbour Line services between Kurla and Vashi will be blocked from 11:10 am to 4:10 pm, cancelling specified UP and DOWN trains to Vashi, Belapur, and Panvel, with special trains on the CSMT–Kurla and Panvel–Vashi sections.
- Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel between Thane and Vashi/Nerul from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm during the block, according to Central Railway.
- Following Friday’s diesel freight locomotive failure between Neral and Vangani, the section was cleared by 9:15 am with some trains diverted via Panvel, technical checks are underway, and a separate Garib Rath wheel-smoke halt near Alwar on Saturday ended without injuries.
