Overview
- Western Railway will run a five-hour Jumbo Block from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm affecting the Up Fast line between Borivali and Ram Mandir and the Down Fast line between Ram Mandir and Goregaon.
- During this period, Up Fast services will use the Up Slow line between Borivali and Andheri and Down Fast services will use the Down Slow line between Andheri and Goregaon, with cancellations and short-terminations including select Harbour services curtailed to Goregaon.
- Central Railway will conduct a four-hour Mega Block on the Main Line with slow services between CSMT and Vidyavihar affected from 10:55 am to 3:55 pm and diversions via the fast line with limited halts.
- Harbour and Trans-Harbour corridors will see suspensions roughly between 11:05 am and 4:05 pm, with Panvel–Vashi and Panvel–CSMT services cancelled during the window, special services running between CSMT and Vashi, and Thane–Vashi/Nerul services continuing.
- Western Railway reported Rs 121.67 crore recovered in fines between April and October, including Rs 24.20 crore in October, reflecting intensified ticket-checking alongside the planned work.
