Overview

• Central Railway will close the UP and DOWN slow lines between CSMT and Vidyavihar from 10:55 am to 3:55 pm on August 31.
• During this window, down trains from CSMT and up trains from Ghatkopar will run on fast lines, halting at Byculla, Parel, Dadar, Matunga, Sion and Kurla before rejoining the slow tracks.
• Harbour Line services between Kurla and Vashi will be suspended from 11:10 am to 4:10 pm, with select CSMT–Vashi/Belapur/Panvel departures and return services cancelled in that period.
• Special locals will operate on CSMT–Kurla and Panvel–Vashi–Panvel, and Harbour Line passengers may use the Thane–Vashi/Nerul corridor between 10 am and 6 pm.
• Western Railway reports no daytime block on August 31 and will run a jumbo block at Mumbai Central from 12:30 am to 4:00 am, while Vasai Road’s platforms 6–7 south-side staircase is set for removal on the night of August 29.
