Overview
- BMC will carry out the work from 9:00 am on January 20 to 5:00 am on January 22, a 44-hour window.
- Supply will be low or suspended in parts of five wards: G North, K East, S, H East and N.
- K East (Andheri East) faces the heaviest impact, with complete shutdowns in areas including MIDC, Marol, Chakala, SEEPZ and the airport zone, with limited low-pressure windows in some pockets.
- Other affected locations include Dharavi in G North, BKC and Motilal Nagar in H East, several Bhandup and Vikhroli West pockets in S Ward, and sites in N Ward such as Godrej Compound, R City Mall, Kailash Complex and nearby residential clusters.
- Residents are advised to store water in advance, use it sparingly during the work period, and boil or filter drinking water during and shortly after supply restoration.
