Overview

• Central Railway will impose a daytime block on the Matunga–Mulund up and down slow lines from 11:05 am to 3:55 pm on Sunday.
• Down services leaving CSMT from 10:14 am to 3:32 pm and up services from Thane from 11:07 am to 3:51 pm will run on fast lines between Matunga and Mulund and are expected to reach destinations about 15 minutes late.
• Trans‑Harbour services between Thane and Vashi/Nerul will be suspended from 11:10 am to 4:10 pm, with specified up and down departures in the 10:25 am–4:09 pm window cancelled.
• Western Railway will conduct a jumbo block at Vasai Road Yard from 12:30 am to 4:30 am on the intervening night of Aug 23–24 for track, signaling and overhead work.
• Western Railway says there will be no daytime block on its suburban section on Aug. 24 and has advised passengers to plan accordingly.
