Mumbai Police Dismantle Mephedrone Network With Three Arrests and ₹36.57 Lakh Seizure

  • A subsequent raid in Palghar led to the detention of 24-year-old Pratik Sudarshan Jadhav and the recovery of 215 grams of the drug alongside a Maruti Swift Dzire.
  • The Prochem Pharmaceutical Laboratory in Tarapur MIDC was searched, yielding 280 grams of ready-to-use mephedrone, raw materials and production equipment.
  • Investigators seized a total of 566 grams of mephedrone along with two vehicles, six mobile phones and other assets valued at ₹36.57 lakh.
  • All three accused have been remanded to police custody for seven days as investigators work to identify additional members of the distribution network.
