Mumbai Police Deploy 19,000 Personnel for October 2 Festivities, Immersions and Dussehra Rallies

Command will be led by the Joint Commissioner of Police under oversight from the city police chief.

  • The traffic police have issued route changes and diversions to reduce congestion, and citizens have been asked to report suspicious activity to 100 or 112.
