Overview
- DN Nagar police arrested Munna Kedar Mali, Janardan Vishwas Bane (alias Nana), and Ashpak Ibrahim Mansuri on Monday in Andheri and Jogeshwari.
- Investigators say the duo of Mali and Bane stole parked two-wheelers at night and sold them to Mansuri, who allegedly dismantled the vehicles at his workshop to sell parts.
- Officers recovered 46 two-wheelers valued at about ₹12.85–13 lakh, including some without number plates and several with tampered identifiers, along with tools used in the thefts.
- The crackdown followed a July 2025 complaint by Andheri resident Raju Balkrishna Pujari, with subsequent probes linking cases across Versova, DN Nagar, Juhu, Goregaon, Malvani, and Colaba.
- All three accused were produced before an Andheri court and remanded to police custody as investigators verify recoveries with the RTO and probe additional thefts and accomplices.
