• Police say staff posed as American telemarketers, impersonated pharmaceutical representatives, used stolen private data, and pushed drugs such as Viagra, Cialis and Tramadol to US buyers.
• Investigators seized laptops, headsets, pen drives and hard drives for analysis to quantify data theft, identify victims and trace financial flows.
• The main accused Muzaffar Shaikh and associate Aamir Maniyar are absconding, and police have launched a search for them.
• Esplanade Court remanded the eight arrested to police custody to December 10 as probes examine supply chains, international payment routes and alleged tax evasion.
