• On June 7 at around 12:27 am, a clip posted by ‘Bandra Buzz’ showed a man dressed in formal clothes lying motionless on the bonnet of a white electric vehicle speeding along Carter Road in Bandra.
• Khar Police registered an FIR under IPC Sections 281 and 125(3)(5) and Motor Vehicles Act Section 184 for rash driving and acts endangering life.
• Technical investigation led officers to Dharavi, where both the driver and the man on the bonnet were arrested on June 10.
• Footage confirmed there were no other passengers and the driver made no attempt to stop as the car sped through the Mumbai suburb.
