Mumbai Police Arrest Two More Suspects in Baba Siddique Murder Case

Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested Aditya Gudankar and Rafiq Shaikh in connection with the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, bringing the total number of arrests to 18.
The suspects were apprehended in Pune and presented in Esplanade court, where they were remanded to police custody until November 13.
The investigation has uncovered a network of conspirators, including Gaurav Vilas Apune, who was promised substantial rewards to participate in the assassination plot.
A key eyewitness in the case has reported receiving a ₹5 crore ransom threat, leading to a police investigation into extortion and intimidation.
The murder, which occurred on October 12 outside Siddique's son's office in Mumbai, has been claimed by a gang led by jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
