Overview
- Water supply will be off from 10:00 am on Nov 14 to 8:00 am on Nov 15 in L ward (Kurla) and M/West ward (Chembur).
- N ward (Ghatkopar) and F/North ward (Matunga–Sion) face a shorter cut from 3:45 am to 8:00 am on Nov 15.
- The work replaces four butterfly valves and one sluice valve on the old and new Tansa mains (1200 mm) and the Vihar trunk main (800 mm).
- Affected localities include Tilak Nagar, Nehru Nagar, Shell Colony, Bhakti Park, Sion East and West, Matunga East, Wadala and parts of Chunabhatti.
- BMC has urged residents to store sufficient water in advance and use it sparingly during the planned maintenance window.
