- The 3,000-square-foot ground-floor space was allocated by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation and the project was conceived in 2023 by MLC Shrikant Bhartiya.
- Visitors can use AI-driven virtual reality goggles to simulate dabbawala delivery routes, play a tiffin-tracking game, and insert their faces into a virtual deliveryman.
- A gallery of historic artefacts displays antique tiffin boxes, a photo wall with images of King Charles III, and the dabbawalas’ awards.
- The dabbawala community plans a modest tour fee to support maintenance and address a post-pandemic workforce decline from about 5,000 at its peak to roughly 1,500.
