Overview
- Passenger service on the full corridor began on October 9 at 5:55 a.m., with peak headways of about five minutes, fares from ₹10 to ₹70, and last departures at 10:30 p.m.
- MMRC reported 1,56,456 commuters on Day 1, with strong flows at CSMT, Churchgate and Vidhan Bhavan and a brief gate closure for crowd control during the evening rush.
- The line connects major hubs including CSMT, Churchgate, Mumbai Central, both airport terminals, BKC, Nariman Point and Fort, consolidating 27 stations with platform screen doors.
