  • The Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) has started final inspections on the BKC–Acharya Atre Chowk segment of Mumbai Metro 3's Aqua Line.

  • If safety clearances are granted, the segment could open for public use as early as this weekend or early next week.
  • The Aqua Line partially launched in October 2024, covering a 12.69 km stretch between Aarey JVLR and BKC, with the final extension to Cuffe Parade expected by July 2025.
