Mumbai Man Killed in Dispute Over Firecracker Noise

Vivek Gupta was fatally stabbed following an altercation in Sion Koliwada, leading to the arrest of five suspects.

The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. in Maharashtra Nagar, Kokri Agar, under the jurisdiction of Antop Hill police.
Vivek Gupta, a 22-year-old electrician, was attacked after intervening in a dispute over firecracker noise.
The altercation began as a verbal argument but escalated when one of the accused returned with accomplices and weapons.
Gupta sustained multiple stab wounds and was declared dead at Sion Hospital at around 3:30 a.m.
Five individuals, including Karthik R. Mohan Devendra and his wife, have been arrested on charges including murder and unlawful assembly.
