Overview
- Inspections ran December 22–30 under a Special Fire Safety Campaign targeting venues expected to host New Year gatherings.

- A December 30 G‑South ward operation at Kamala Mills and Shakti Mills seized eight illegal commercial LPG cylinders, 200 kg of charcoal, 135 litres of edible oil and other items.
- The civic body said inspections will continue beyond the campaign period and urged strict adherence to its fire safety guidelines.
