  • The India Meteorological Department has flagged a yellow alert for heavy rainfall from June 22 through June 24, cautioning residents to prepare for intense showers.
  • Cloudy skies with intermittent moderate rain are forecast for June 22, and high tides are expected at 9:28 AM (4.09 m) and 8:52 PM (3.74 m), with low tides at 3:06 PM (2.09 m) and early June 23 (0.59 m).
  • Persistent downpours over the past week have led to widespread waterlogging on major thoroughfares, triggering traffic jams at key junctions across Mumbai.
  • The combined water stock in Tulsi, Vihar, Bhatsa, Tansa, Upper Vaitarna, Middle Vaitarna and Modak Sagar reservoirs climbed to 388,523 million litres, equivalent to 26.84 percent of capacity.
  • Among the seven lakes, Modak Sagar holds the highest level at 44.22 percent, followed by Tulsi at 38.33 percent, while Tansa remains below 10 percent.
