  • The BMC is collaborating with NGOs to train participants on proper waste segregation and is distributing yellow bags to facilitate the process.
  • Plasma-based treatment units, first introduced in 2021, are being upgraded to handle the anticipated increase in hazardous waste, with tenders issued for 11 additional units.
