• Vanrai police arrested Sunil Gupta, 44, after an FIR alleged he used forged purchase orders to obtain gold coins from his employer.

• Police say Gupta claimed bulk orders from Macleods Pharmaceuticals and secured deliveries of 3,400 and later 3,600 one-gram coins.
• The two consignments were valued at about ₹2.46 crore and ₹3.17 crore respectively, totaling roughly ₹5.72–₹5.75 crore.
• Complainant Naresh Jain told police he set up a Brand Harmony branch for Gupta and gave him email access, and Gupta later admitted using the coins for personal use and failed to repay.
