  • A Bangkok arrival on flight SL218 was found with 5.922 kg of hydroponic weed concealed in a trolley bag, valued at Rs 5.922 crore, and was arrested under the NDPS Act.
  • Two travelers from Bangkok on flight AI2338 were caught with 12.017 kg of suspected hydroponic weed hidden in chocolate and chips packets, valued at Rs 12.017 crore, and both were arrested.
  • A passenger from Dubai on flight AI2202 was apprehended with eight 24 KT crude gold bangles weighing 225 grams, worth Rs 25.64 lakh, concealed on the body.
  • Customs cited passenger profiling, baggage checks and personal searches in the operations, and said follow-up investigations are underway to identify any wider network.
