Mumbai Customs Seize Rs 45 Crore in Hydroponic Weed as Airport Crackdown Widens

  • Hyderabad RGIA customs on January 9 recovered 14 kg of hydroponic ganja from two passengers who arrived from Qatar, estimated at around Rs 14 crore, and detained them for questioning.
  • Authorities describe hydroponic cannabis as a high-grade, costly variant and say probes are focusing on recurring routes through Bangkok and Gulf hubs, with efforts underway to identify additional members of suspected international cartels.
