A tip-off led officers to Bandra, where a court granted transit remand for his return to face organised-crime charges.

  • He was produced before a Mumbai court, placed on transit remand, and handed over to Jammu and Kashmir police for transfer to Jammu.
  • Police say he is linked to roughly 20 serious offences, including murder, extortion and drug smuggling across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Jammu’s Bus Stand Police Station recently booked him under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections 111, 351 and 333 for alleged organised crime and related offences.
  • Officials have also tied him to the Mohali killing of Rajesh Dogra and to the murder of a former legislator’s son, and they report he absconded while on bail after a life sentence in a murder case.
