• Officials say he is linked to at least 28 cases involving burglary, theft, cheating and gambling across Maharashtra and Goa.
• At least 25 cases are registered at the MRA Marg, Marine Drive and Cuffe Parade police stations in south Mumbai.
• His custody was transferred to the Mata Ramabai Ambedkar Marg police station, with additional cases noted in Chembur, Manikpur and Parvarim in Goa.
