  • The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has officially renamed the Divecha Pavilion Level 3 at Wankhede Stadium as the 'Rohit Sharma Stand' in recognition of the captain's leadership and achievements.
  • Stands were also named after former BCCI president Sharad Pawar and the late Ajit Wadekar, with Grand Stand Levels 3 and 4 dedicated to them respectively.
  • The match-day office at the MCA Pavilion has been renamed the 'MCA Office Lounge' in memory of former MCA President Amol Kale.
  • Rohit Sharma's contributions, including leading India to victories in the 2024 T20 World Cup and the 2025 Champions Trophy, were pivotal in earning this honor.
  • The MCA AGM also approved an increase in the grassroots development corpus to INR 75 crore, with plans to expand it to INR 100 crore in the coming years.
