  • Authorities allege the duo befriended More via Instagram in late 2024 and recorded private encounters to blackmail him into transferring nearly ₹3 crore.
  • Parwani and Qureshi reportedly assaulted More’s mother during a June 7 visit to his Santacruz East home, escalating his distress ahead of his death.
  • By July 9 police had arrested both suspects and uncovered bank records confirming around ₹2.47 crore in coerced transfers.
  • Investigators have seized assets taken under duress, including a luxury vehicle, and are conducting financial forensic inquiries as the probe continues.
