Overview

• CSMIA handled over 5 million international arrivals from January to August 2025, up from 4.8 million in the same period of 2024 and 4.1 million in 2023.
• International arrivals have grown at a 21% compound annual rate over the past three years, according to Mumbai International Airport Ltd.
• The UAE led source markets with 1.5 million arrivals in the first eight months of 2025, followed by the UK at 0.38 million and Thailand at 0.32 million.
• Seven new international routes were added between April 2024 and 2025—Al-Fujairah, Tashkent, Krabi, Almaty, Amman, Manchester, and Tbilisi—bringing direct links to 55 destinations.
• On a rolling 12-month basis to August 2025, the airport recorded 8.24 million arriving international passengers, and January 2025 logged 0.69 million arrivals, a 415% increase over January 2022.
