Multiple Traffic Incidents Across Germany Leave Several Dead and Dozens Injured
A series of accidents involving cars, trucks, buses, and motorcycles has caused fatalities, injuries, and significant disruptions on roads nationwide.
- A wrong-way driver on the A6 near Heilbronn caused a fatal head-on collision, killing himself and one other driver, with two others suffering minor injuries.
- A Munich collision between a school bus and a tram injured 12 people, including nine children, and caused major traffic disruptions.
- A truck accident on the A9 near Beelitz injured five workers and the truck driver, with a bridge railing collapsing onto a road below.
- In Berlin, two men were caught racing at 118 km/h in a 50 km/h zone; one driver, without a license, had his wife and unrestrained toddler in the car.
