Multiple Fatalities and Injuries Reported in Series of Road Accidents Across India
A spate of accidents involving buses, cars, and a tractor-trolley has left at least 17 dead and dozens injured in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan over the past two days.
- Three Maha Kumbh pilgrims died and two were injured when their bus rammed into a stationary truck on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Rajasthan's Kota.
- Four people, including a driver, were killed and 17 others injured in a collision between a mini-bus and a dumper truck on the Kanpur-Prayagraj highway in Uttar Pradesh.
- A speeding tractor-trolley carrying wedding attendees overturned after hitting a culvert in Bhind, Madhya Pradesh, killing three and injuring over 25 passengers.
- In Bhopal, a man died and his sister was injured when their car collided with a bus en route to an exam, while five others were hurt in a separate SUV accident on Chetak Bridge.
- Authorities are investigating the causes of these accidents, with driver errors and speeding being primary factors in several cases.
