Overview

  • On July 14, a 17-year-old was shot on the Stone Scholastic Academy soccer field in West Ridge during an apparent robbery and the shooter fled on an electric scooter
  • Hours later a 37-year-old wheelchair user was shot in the leg in the 900 block of North Dearborn on the Near North Side and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition
  • Shortly after midnight on July 15, a 14-year-old boy was shot while walking on South King Drive in Greater Grand Crossing and was listed in good condition at the hospital
