- The Football Association, the World Anti‑Doping Agency and Mykhailo Mudryk reached an agreement on 30 July that ended his appeal and restored his immediate eligibility to play.

- The October 2024 test showed a low concentration of meldonium, the source of which has not been formally identified.
- Chelsea said it will reintegrate Mudryk into the squad and he is reported to be joining the club’s pre‑season tour, including travel to Hong Kong ahead of the friendly on 5 August, while questions remain over his match fitness and squad role.
- WADA’s Technical Document TD2027MRL raised the minimum reporting level for meldonium so that very low concentrations are no longer reported as positives, a change that was decisive in resolving the case although it does not apply retroactively.
