Overview
- Mu. Ka. Muthu was the eldest son of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi and the half-brother of current Chief Minister M. K. Stalin.
- He died at age 77 on July 19 at his Injambakkam residence after a prolonged battle with age-related ailments.
- The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam suspended all official events for the day and his body was laid out at the Karunanidhi family home in Gopalapuram for public homage.
