MTV VMAs Introduce New Categories Celebrating Iconic Moments and Trending Videos

The 2024 VMAs will feature fan voting for 'Most Iconic Performance' and 'Best Trending Video' via Instagram.

Voting for 'Best Trending Video' starts on September 2, followed by 'Best Group' on September 3, and 'Song of the Summer' on September 6.
The 'Most Iconic Performance' category includes memorable acts by Beyoncé, Madonna, Lady Gaga, and more.
The VMAs will be hosted by Megan Thee Stallion and air live on September 11 at 8 p.m. EDT.
Performers include Anitta, Camila Cabello, Halsey, Lenny Kravitz, and others.
Additional voting for categories like 'Video of the Year' and 'Best New Artist' will run until the show airs.
