• MTV named Sabrina Carpenter, J Balvin with DJ Snake, Alex Warren, Sombr, Busta Rhymes and Ricky Martin as the initial performers, with Warren and Sombr set for debut VMA sets.
• Busta Rhymes will receive the inaugural Rock the Bells Visionary Award and Ricky Martin the first Latin Icon Award, and both will perform during the telecast.
• J Balvin will perform Zun Zun with Justin Quiles and Lenny Tavárez, then premiere Noventa live with DJ Snake, marking the DJ’s first VMA performance.
