• Song of the Summer nominees include Addison Rae, Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Morgan Wallen featuring Tate McRae, Alex Warren, Benson Boone and Chappell Roan, with McRae earning two entries in the field.
• Fan voting runs on @MTV’s Instagram Story, with Best Group in a three-round bracket from Sept. 2 at 11 a.m. ET to Sept. 6 at 11 a.m. ET, followed by a single-round Song of the Summer vote from Sept. 6 to Sept. 7 at 11 a.m. ET.
• First-time VMA nominees this year include Best Group’s Fuerza Regida and Song of the Summer entrants Addison Rae, BigXthaPlug, HUNTR/X, Ravyn Lenae and Rex Orange County.
• The VMAs air live Sept. 7 at 8 p.m. ET from New York’s UBS Arena on CBS and MTV, stream on Paramount+, and will be hosted by LL Cool J.
