Overview

• The attack occurred Saturday around 5:30 pm at the 33/11 kV Tuila Sub-Station in Churachandpur, injuring seven employees including the officer-in-charge.
• MSPCL’s SSSD-IX and SSD-III units called the incident a direct assault on public service workers and urged a swift, transparent investigation.
• The utility asked the Tuila Area Chief Association to settle the matter under customary law by midnight on Oct. 20, warning of law-and-order escalation if unresolved.
• Staff sought written assurances to prevent further harassment and circulated their statement to the Deputy General Manager SSD-III, TACA and other stakeholders.
