  • MSI has unveiled the Claw, a handheld gaming device that runs on Intel's new Core Ultra chips, at CES 2024. The device is set to compete with the likes of the Valve Steam Deck, Asus ROG Ally, and Lenovo Legion Go.
  • The Claw features a 7-inch full HD touchscreen display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and an NVMe M2 SSD. It also includes a 53Whr battery, which MSI claims will last up to two hours under a full workload.
  • The device runs on Windows 11, and users can install and play Android games through MSI's App Player. It also supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
  • MSI claims that the Claw's Intel Core Ultra chip and integrated Arc graphics will allow users to enjoy resource-intensive AAA games on a handheld device. The device also uses MSI's Cooler Boost Hyperflow thermal technology to prevent overheating during extended gaming sessions.
  • The Claw is set to be released in the first half of 2024, with prices starting at $699.
