MSI Launches New Claw AI+ Handhelds with Intel Lunar Lake and 32GB RAM

The Claw 8 AI+ and Claw 7 AI+ feature improved performance, battery life, and redesigned controls, starting at $799.

The MSI Claw 8 AI+ ($899) and Claw 7 AI+ ($799) are now available for preorder and will officially release on December 25, 2024.
Both handhelds are powered by Intel's Core Ultra 7 258V processor with integrated Arc 140V graphics, offering a claimed 20% better average FPS than competitors under similar power conditions.
The Claw 8 AI+ features an 8-inch 1920x1200 touchscreen, an 80-watt-hour battery, and a khaki-colored design, while the Claw 7 AI+ has a 7-inch 1920x1080 display and a 54.5-watt-hour battery.
New hardware updates include 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM, Thunderbolt 4 ports, and redesigned Hall Effect triggers, joysticks, and bumpers for improved ergonomics and precision.
MSI's updated software, Copilot+ integration, and support for both Windows and Android games aim to enhance user experience and gaming versatility.
