MSG claims it offered Altice reduced fees and the option to keep programming available during negotiations, but Altice rejected these proposals.
The dispute leaves fans of the Knicks, Rangers, Islanders, and Devils without direct access to games during the NBA and NHL seasons, with MSG promoting its Gotham Sports streaming service as an alternative.
Optimum has partnered with Fubo to offer discounts and free trials to affected customers, while some games remain available on other networks such as ESPN and ABC.
