MrBeast Sues Ex-Employee Over Alleged Data Theft and Hidden Cameras

Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast, has filed a lawsuit in North Carolina against former employee Leroy Nabors for alleged trade secret misappropriation and breach of contract.
The lawsuit claims Nabors downloaded over 1,000 confidential files, including sensitive business strategies, financial data, and employee personal information, before his termination in October 2024.
An internal investigation reportedly uncovered hidden cameras in Beast Industries' offices, which the company alleges Nabors and his daughter’s IT firm controlled to record meetings without authorization.
Nabors denies wrongdoing, asserting that the data downloads were routine backups and not an intentional theft of proprietary information.
MrBeast is seeking damages and a court order to recover and delete all improperly acquired confidential information allegedly still in Nabors' possession.
